What we collect
When you submit a tool, we collect your email, website, product details, and review status. Approved product information is public after a placement is paid. Your submission email and private access token are not public. We store a hash of your private token for verification.
For payments we store order references, Stripe payment identifiers, amounts, statuses, and timestamps. Stripe handles payment details; our application does not store card numbers. Stripe may collect billing and fraud-prevention data under its own privacy policy.
For rate limits and aggregate analytics, the application converts a network address into a keyed, one-way identifier. We use it to estimate visitors, avoid counting repeat tool clicks within a day, and limit abuse. The application does not store raw IP addresses in its analytics tables. AWS, Supabase, Stripe, and infrastructure logs may process connection information to provide and secure their services.
How we use it
We use information to review and publish listings, process placements, provide support, prevent abuse, measure directory usage, and meet applicable obligations. Depending on local law, this processing is based on performing our agreement, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, and legal obligations.
Storage and service providers
The service uses AWS Amplify for hosting, Supabase for database and administrator authentication, and Stripe for checkout. Data may be processed outside your country. We use the contractual and technical safeguards offered by these providers where applicable. We do not sell submission email addresses.
Browser storage
We store your theme preference and your own submission access links locally in your browser. Administrator sessions use essential, secure cookies. The application does not set advertising or cross-site analytics cookies. Stripe checkout may use cookies necessary for payment and fraud prevention.
Retention and your choices
We keep listing and order data while necessary to operate the directory, resolve disputes, and meet financial record obligations. You can request access, correction, deletion, or a listing takedown through support. We verify requests to protect the listing owner. Some payment and audit records may need to remain for legal or security reasons. You may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, portability, and to complain to a relevant supervisory authority.
Security and changes
We limit administrative access and separate private data from public listings. Keep private submission links confidential. We may revise this policy as the service changes; the effective date appears above.
